To add to what has already been a very successful year for HML following the European Call Centre Awards, Burnley Business Awards and Communicators in Business Awards, HML has been shortlisted for yet another award - The Lancashire Telegraph Business Awards in the Social and Community Development (Sponsored by Napthens Solicitors) category.

"With a total of 11 awards, the event enables the area's best businesses to showcase their successes over the last 12 months and compete for the region's most prestigious titles.

The award is all about positive action, either by businesses putting something back into the communities in which they operate or enterprises in which the bottom line isn't the driving factor but which carry out work to benefit individuals in East Lancashire. It is open to charities and all kinds of social enterprises as well as conventional companies.

The latter might have allowed community organisations, schools or charities to use the resources of the business or given them ideas, advice, money or expertise."

We are proud that HML, especially those individuals in our Padiham office, fit into this category and we wish those attending at the awards ceremony at Blackburn Rovers' Ewood Park, the best of luck on Friday 20 November.
